Before you apply

  • Read the whole ad. Our filters only spot words in the ad, so check the hours, location and requirements yourself.
  • Tailor your resume to each job: use a few of the ad's own words for the skills you really have.
  • Never pay to apply for a job, and be careful with ads that ask for bank details or ID before an interview.
  • If you need adjustments at work or in an interview, you can ask for them. You choose what you share and when.

Questions

Where do the jobs come from?

From Careerjet, a job search engine that collects ads from employers and job boards across Australia. Clicking a job takes you to the original ad to apply.

How do the filters work?

They look for words in each ad. For example, 'work from home' shows ads that mention working from home, remote or hybrid work, and 'no experience needed' shows ads that say so or mention training, traineeships or apprenticeships. They can't see what the ad doesn't say, so always read it in full.

Can I find jobs that suit my disability or health condition?

We don't label jobs as suitable for any condition, because only you know what works for you. The filters help you find the things people often need, like part-time hours, working from home, flexible hours or not needing a car. For advice on adjustments, JobAccess is free.

Is it free?

Yes. Community Help Co may earn a small fee from Careerjet when you click a job ad. It costs you nothing and doesn't change which jobs you see.

Can someone help me apply?
